A Good Summer

What constitute a good summer?
sex, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and music...
well i'm not getting much sex this summer, but i sure do make up for it by having a lot of the rest of those things
I was just talking to my friend today that i should be in a bad mood right now, i should feel shitty, but i'm actually doing a lot better than i expected
Aside from the occasional tiny freak outs here and there, i'm really enjoying myself, discovering new music and books, and slowly realizing that whatever happened was just some fucking horse ass shit, some people are just un-curable cunt [pardon my french] who really don't deserve love and care, well one can hope they're not getting any, but whatever.

so the point for this entry is that i went to a show tonight, i've seen my fair share of indie shows during my time here, and after a while all indie shows kinda sound the same, so it's pretty rare that i see a band and just instantly like their music.
This band is called Dirty Mitten, they're Portland based, and they're just fun. Yeah, that's a good way to put it, they're just flat out fun.

So as Jack Black puts it, thank you, the gods of rock, for bringing me a not too shabby summer.




Also, i'd like to announce a very exciting new independent project, to all my readers, yes, all two of them:

LESS THAN FLUID

Seeing Taipei behind the glass of architecture and through the imagination of a traveler who is finally home.
A project involving poetry, images, dreams and water.

Like the molecules of water in the air, my imagination flows through the city, the landscape, the people.

And freezes.
Leaving a drop, a sign, a trail of me to the places I’ve been.




Soon my solid state will evaporate, dissolving into the smallest unit.
The drop, the sign, the trail is now gone.
And my journey begins yet again.
